At Zesty Weives, we believe technology should be understandable and trust should be easy to maintain. This policy explains how we handle your information in plain, human language, in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the EU AI Act.

1. Data We Collect

We are intentionally minimalist about data. We only collect information that you voluntarily provide to us:

Live Voice Calls (Sandy AI Assistant): When you enter the consultation room and speak with Sandy, your microphone audio is streamed ephemerally in volatile memory (RAM) via encrypted WebSockets to process your speech and generate spoken responses. We do not record, store, or retain voice audio or conversation transcripts on our servers. Once your session ends, live audio buffers are immediately flushed.
Consultation Requests & Booking: If you request a live voice consultation or a 1-on-1 advisory with William, we collect your name, email address, preferred session slot, language preference, and optional challenge notes so we can schedule and coordinate your session.
Contact Form: If you reach out via our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply to you directly.
Idea Board: Any ideas or challenges you submit to our community board are processed anonymously. We do not link these submissions to your identity.

2. How We Use and Process Your Data

We use your data strictly to provide the requested digital guidance services:

Real-Time AI Processing: Live voice audio is streamed over encrypted TLS connections to our secure backend hosted on Google Cloud Run in the European Union (region europe-north1, Hamina, Finland) and processed through the Google Gemini Multimodal Live API to generate speech. Neither Zesty Weives nor our infrastructure partners retain persistent voice recordings from these calls.
Direct Communication: We use your contact details solely to confirm bookings, provide secure room links, or respond to follow-up notes you choose to send to William. We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use tracking cookies, cross-site analytics services, or advertising pixels. Our website is designed to be functional and informative without monitoring your behavior.

4. Your Rights Under GDPR

Because we operate in Finland and across the Nordic region, you have full rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If we ever update our technical infrastructure or data practices, we will update this page promptly. Our commitment to zero audio retention and user privacy remains foundational to everything we build.
